1. What We Collect

• On-device content: Your routines and photos are stored locally on your device by default. They are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to back them up or share them.
• Product feedback (anonymous): We may collect anonymous product votes and reviews to improve the app. These are processed via Supabase without personal identifiers.
• Account and communications: If you join our waitlist or contact support, we collect your email to respond and keep you updated.
• Usage data: Limited technical information may be collected to maintain and improve the service (e.g., app version, device type).

2. How We Use Information

• Provide core features and personalize the Type4Hair experience.
• Improve the product through anonymous feedback and aggregated insights.
• Communicate updates, support responses, and important notices.
• Ensure safety, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requirements.

3. Data Storage

Routines and photos stay on your device by default. If you uninstall the app or delete your content, it will be removed from your device. Anonymous product feedback is stored in Supabase without personal identifiers.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

• Payments: Handled by Apple. We do not process or store your card details.
• Subscriptions: Managed via Superwall. We may receive anonymized subscription status to unlock features; no payment card information is stored by us.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted providers to operate the app, including Supabase (data infrastructure) and Superwall (subscription management). These providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations and only process data on our behalf.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access, correct, or delete your data where applicable.
• Delete on-device routines and photos directly in the app or your device.
• Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

7. Data Retention

On-device content persists until you delete it. Anonymous feedback is retained only as long as necessary to improve the service and may be aggregated.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method is 100% secure, and we continuously improve our safeguards.

9. Children

Type4Hair is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. We will revise the effective date above and provide additional notice where required.
